if your child had a throat and ear infection and was on AB's and it was 1 day before they were due to finish the course and they felt ok in themselves would you take them to soft play to meet some friends?

Yes - you can always leave early if he/she gets too tired.

I would if they felt up to it. Tbh, my dds have gone to school with antibiotics if they've felt well enough.

Other parents aren't this thoughtful and take their children anywhere with all sorts of bugs

My friend lets her son go to nursery with all sorts of illnesses and doesn't give it a thought. you are being too thoughtful - your child is at the end of their infection. Please go anf try not to worry.

oooh i don't know if it is infectious i just assumed chest, ear, throat infections were infectious. is this not the case?

Really think you're giving it too much thought and consideration - it's one day before the antibiotics are due to finish - many people don't even finish courses of antibiotics because they feel better
