AIBU - PlayStation

My husband likes his PlayStation. I've never complained and we have sometimes played together. He usually plays with his friends and talks to them on a headset. Since our DD has been born (she's almost 12 weeks) he's continued to shout and laugh very loudly while he plays. This is waking our DD up constantly and recently she's beginning to cry. I've asked him several times to just tone it down and his response is 'if I don't like it I can go up stairs' and she's 'only crying for attention'.

How do I not murder him?! I've been going out for walks while he plays if she's asleep or needs a sleep buts it's getting darker and can't go out for long.Sad

What an abusive fuckwit of a man. Does he not want to be a parent?
I can understand him still wanting to do some gaming, but it has to come second to a new baby.

LTB, think of the peace when the PlayStation goes.

YOU go out with a 12 week old baby rather than him to tone it down a bit? That fucking man child needs to grow up and start looking after you and your child!

CornishMumma01 · 21/09/2018 20:22

He hardly interacts with her because his excuse is 'she just cries'. Well sorry mate, all babies cry and she cries at me more than you! Angry why do men exist?!

Bring the baby downstairs and pointedly sit next to him with the baby crying. If he moans, tell him that if he doesn't like it he can go to another room. What a selfish sick.

GoodbyeSummer · 21/09/2018 20:37

*dick sorry, not sick

Beesandfrogsandfleas · 21/09/2018 20:45

It’s not “why do men exist” Cornishmama, this is not how an average man reacts, sorry.

Havetothink · 22/09/2018 09:56

Tell him to buck up his ideas or move out. If he doesn't remove the controllers at night and lock them away somewhere.

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 22/09/2018 10:06

why do men exist?!

This is not a man thing, he's a selfish arsehole.

Shabeth · 22/09/2018 15:02

What an arse. Baby crying for attention at 12 weeks? Come on.
Me and my husband both play a lot of playstation, our dd is 5 months. We both just put headphones on or put the sound down. We had a child we've grown up and still manage to do the things we like
