Just curious to know your babies sleeping routine and how much they nap during the day? I think my baby is napping too long? He wakes up at 7.30 then naps at 9am for 2 hours, then up again until he naps around 2/3pm ish. Then he's awake until 9/10pm, is he sleeping too much in the daytime? Thanks in advance Smile

Mine is a second baby and sleeps in the car to and from school which messes up any chance of a routine Sad. But our day kind of looks like this 6:30 awake, feed in bed and playtime 8:30 sleeps till about 9:15 in car. 11:30 naps for 1-2 hours. Naps on school run for about 40 mins. Bath and bed at 18-19:00.

Wakes for feeds throughout the night Hmm

Btw I do t think you should change his routine. It sounds good. In the summmer hols my routine looked a lot more like yours. I think those later bedtimes and natural for them but a PITA for us sometimes!

Yes! It would be lovely if he was going to sleep earlier in the evenings, maybe I should wake him up a bit earlier or shorten his naps xx

Is he getting 2 hours at each nap? I would probably try shorten you one hour, particularly the afternoon one. A lot of my friends would do this and baby goes to sleep at 7pm

Chelseajunior · 20/09/2018 20:23

He would sleep for 3 or 4 hours if I let him in the day! I think your right, just shorten his afternoon snooze. He's a second child also so can sleep in the car on the school run lol x

Plus he only wakes up once for a feed in the night (I'm not complaining though) x
