How bad are the 3rd set of vaccinations? :(

My little girl has her third set of jabs tomorrow and of course I'm dreading it :(

Did anybody find the 3rd set weren't as bad? She wasn't super poorly after first two, just a temp and a little groggy.

Also dreading the horrific cries but nothing can help that. When will they find a different for way to vaccinate? 😭

Mine is meant to have her third ones tomorrow too but I've cancelled as she has a cold! Everyone I have spoken to has said the third are the worst for some reason 😭😭 like a fever for 48 hours and not eating and stuff. I mean it's not that drastic for all of them but the ones who said it was that bad didn't have an issue the first time round like my baby did. It's the men b one that causes the most aggravation! I've been debating not letting her have it but I'd hate myself if she developed meningitis. It's only been around 3 years.. Wish she was born 4 years ago 😭 then I wouldn't have this dilemma. (sounds daft I know)

I never minded the vaccinations. Yes LO cried for 15seconds, but then she turned into a super cuddly baby, so i just enjoyed her actually wanting to sleep on me etc for the day. Dose them up with xalpol and neurofen and they shoukd sleep most of the day

Sorry, third set were worse for me, not so much in sickness (that was about the same for a day or two after) but because she was older and cried more with the jabs (was it 3 injections?). They were so much quicker at giving the first lot. Holding her while they did it felt terrible and she was upset for a while afterwards.

She had them at 9.30 this morning, 3 injections and to my surprise she barely cried and even smiled at the nurse after! She has also seemed fine in herself so far, just keeping her doses up on calpol.

I asked the nurse if this was the worst batch of them and she said no, she wasn't sure why people think that, it's the same as the first set and if anything the reaction should be less as baby should've already built some immunity.

I know this isn't the case for everyone but hopefully that makes some of you who fall onto this post feel a little better 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks op!! That's given me some hope back.. I know that they're the same as the first batch which is why I have been confused when hearing other people experiences!! Maybe some babies get to the third batch and are just like "NOOO NOT AGAIN"
