Pram lock

Morning all!
I want to buy a lock for my pram for when I have to leave it outside at the children’s Centre, I’m worried someone is going to take it as it’s an expensive pram.
Anyway, can anyone recommend one please? I’m honking one with a long cord so I can wrap it round a couple of wheels if there isn’t anything to attach it to. I like the look of the retractable ones but the cords don’t look very thick? Or I’ve seen this one too on amazon but was after something more compact? www.<a class="break-all" href="https://amazon.co.uk/LWD-Approved-Combination-Security-retractable/dp/B074S321XP/ref=mp_s_a_1_15/262-1498860-8044620?keywords=retractable%20cable%20lock&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&ie=UTF8&qid=1537257681&sr=8-15&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-parenting-3368827-Pram-lock" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">amazon.co.uk/LWD-Approved-Combination-Security-retractable/dp/B074S321XP/ref=mp_s_a_1_15/262-1498860-8044620?ie=UTF8&qid=1537257681&sr=8-15&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=retractable+cable+lock

Thank you all!

Bike lock?

I hadn’t thought of a bike lock! They’re quite big though aren’t they?

Our children’s centre has a basket of pram locks for people to use, have you asked at yours?

Koodi make a pram lock which looks good, it isn’t thick but I don’t think any chain will stop someone if they really want to take your pram.

No they definitely haven’t got locks as I said I was concerned in case anyone took it as they insist prams are left outside. I can understand why they have to be left outside though

I hate the way we're expected to leave prams outside. Prams are so expensive these days to just leave. I have a koodi but because I have a twin pram, they have been accommodating and let me take it inside.

Smellybears · 18/09/2018 13:02

I understand why they aren’t allowed in, they want as much space as possible, but it is annoying as if someone takes it then it means buying another! Without sounding like a snob, mine is expensive and I’d be gutted if it was taken

I've got a bike lock of Amazon, it's one that's a wire rather than the rigid U one.
You could also buy a cheap pram second ,hand and take that. I agree I don't like leaving a brand's worth of stuff to be pinched!

Good idea regarding a second pram, thank you!
