16 year old syntoms?

Hi, my 16 yr old hand-flaps and tics when excited and i was just wondering if its anything i should bring upto our dr. The tics contain her rubbing her hands together and bringing her hand into her chest alongside the clenching of her jaw. The hand flaps(?) are her shaking her hands with her wrists loose.
Any help is welcome!!

Any other autism markers or stims? Do the behaviours cause them a problem or not?

If this is new behaviour and she cannot control it then its worth going to see the GP.

@lamdalipa I'm not sure about any other autism markers but she has told me that a few of her friends have been a bit weird about it which makes her feel anxious about her tics

Take her to your doctor or a&e if you can't get a quick appointment any new neurological symptoms should be taken seriously but don't panic it could simply be behavioural.
