Advice needed! 3yo sleeping!

Hi all, long time lurker/occasional poster!

I need some advice on DD3! For the last 12 months it’s taking me and my partner around 3 hours to get her to sleep.

She doesn’t stop. From waking up in the morning to eventually going to sleep she is an absolute whirlwind. She’s very naughty and I feel like I’m constantly telling her no or putting her on the naughty step. She is good as gold at nursery! She also is completely dry throughout nursery days (8.30am until 3.30pm) I pick her up, come home and she either wets herself consistently or takes her clothes off and uses the garden!

I get this is disgusting, but I have no idea how to get her to understand this isn’t ok?

I should add I have a 10yo DD and a 5yo DD and never had any of these problems with them. They have all had the same upbringing and discipline procedures.

So, what can I do to get her to sleep? If we leave the room she climbs in the window/jumps on the bed/comes out. If we lie with her she kicks us, punches us, throws things at us whilst laughing.

I’m really struggling to cope with this one and I’m often in tears because of how close to the edge she is pushing me! Not sure how much more I can take of the constant battles every day and the bedtime battles too.

Any advice is much appreciated

My D's use to take ages to sleep at night so I cut his afternoon nap down. Sometimes he doesn't nap at all. I began a bedtime routineof milk, clean teeth, PJs on, story then sleep with a teddy. Then he stopped having milk asked for a sip of water at his request, recently the stories have stopped too. He puts himself to sleep too sometimes he asks me to sit in his bedroom whilst he falls asleep

What’s your gut feeling on this @FructoseTart. Do you think it’s just a case of changing a few things or do you think there’s something more going on here?
