DH is always on a screen!

My DH spends a lot of his time on either his computer or phone. Example, I have been out all day with the kids at various events, parties, etc. He was at home, so didn't see DCs all day. When we get home after greeting us he returns to one of his screens. I went to the bathroom, to return to see 2 DCs watching TV in one room, other DC watching in another room, and DH sat on his computer at dining table. AIBU to think DH should be off screens and spend time with DCs having not seen them all day? I get it, I like my phone, and computer, but usually only use it when DCs are not around. I have told him a few times it upsets me as I think he should focus on the DCs in these situations, he gets upset, and reminds me that he does lots with them otherwise.
On our once a year holiday there was not a single day in 2 weeks that he did not switch on his computer.
Anyone else have a similar experience, or any thoughts on this?

I totally agree with you! I'm planning on only letting my daughter (who is just 4 months currently) watch films now and then and she won't be allowed a screen of any sort until she's a teenager, or possible earlier if there's a good reason for it.

I only use my phone when she's sleeping now and I have told my OH that he needs to stop using his phone so much because I don't want her getting used to seeing him looking down at a phone and thinking that's the norm!
