Bitten when feeding - PAIN

My daughter bit my nipple when I was feeding her at around midday today. She has teeth and drew blood. This evening my breast below where she bit me is really tender and sore to touch and in general is quite sore but just particularly there. It's not red or hot to the touch and I don't have a temperature. Could it be infected? Or has she just done some damage? Anyone else with experience of this?

Yeah, that's when I packed in BF dd. There was more blood blister than nip.

I've been bitten twice since my DS got teeth. No lasting damage thankfully. Both times happened when he was teething and in pain himself.

Do you have a local breastfeeding helpline you can call for advice? I’ve been bitten a few times (also when he was teething) and it’s always painful at the time but not afterwards, so could need checking.

Thanks everyone. I've spoken to the breastfeeding network and I've just got to keep an eye on it in case it develops an infection but that I probably don't have one now.
