Need some advice please! My baby boy (17 weeks) cries every time he’s held by his grandparents (my in-laws) yet when he sees my mum every 4 weeks he is absolutely fine and the same with my dad who he sees every 2 or 3 weeks but he sees my in laws multiple times every week and still cries, he’s fine if he being held by me or my partner. The problem is, I’m going back to uni in 3 weeks so he’s going to be looked after by the in laws for 1 day a week. Anyone else had the same or any ideas on how to help him settle otherwise it’s just going to be horrible for everyone!

I’d start to build up the time they have him. So try for one hour a day for a few days if you can, then 2 hours, then half a day. It’s much better that they all find a way of getting along before you go back Smile
