Hi I have a new baby he’s 9 weeks old and since a couple of days ago words don’t make sense to me. When I say words or talk to people I’m questing what I have just said and if those words are even real! My baby is sleeping all night so I don’t think that I’m physically exhausted or anything like that. Nobody has mentioned me saying anyhing crazy or making up words so it seams to be all Iv my head and my speech hasn’t changed at all. Does anyone know what this is? I feel crazy and haven’t told anyone

I would speak to your GP or HV promptly. There’s several things this could be, which could be related to post natal mental health, even if you otherwise feel fine. Stress can do funny things to you. Get it checked out and make sure you tell someone about it (a partner, etc) so they keep an eye on it, in case it gets worse.

Please go and see your GP.
PND can have some unusual symptoms such as depersonalisation and derealisation, and this could possibly be something similar.
