On the whole I would say that my DS is not ready for potty training as he is not cooperative or motivated enough. He has only recently agreed to sit on a potty with his nappy on etc. Won't sit on it bare-bottomed lol!
For the last couple of days when I'm changing his nappy, he always squeezes a few drops of wee out but will not (apart from briefly tonight) try this on his potty! He thinks it's hilarious. I don't want to get cross as I think before now he hasn't had the sensation of needing to go and it's all a novelty? Has anyone experienced anything like this and would you encourage things any further at this stage??
