Ideas on how to wash her hair?

Hi my DD has a cut on her arm and I've been told by hospital not to get it wet any ideas? Bag over her arm maybe? It's at the top of her arm near her shoulder.

Two ways. Plastic bag then sit in bath with arm out of water and use a jug or washed standing/kneeling and leaning over bath and use a jug.

If something like this for example, Boots is an expensive example but is in most towns www.boots.com/bloccs-waterproof-protector-for-casts-and-bandages-child-full-arm-8-10-yr-10199052?affwin&awc=2041_1536647485_2761368752adc2121021e2625fcb9ba6&cm_mmc=affiliates--Loyalty--Give%20as%20you%20Live-_-affiliate

Dry shampoo / cornflour - the cornflour is the natural version and will take any grease out, freshen it up - hair up if needed and is easily available

This might be a good idea, no water needed.

How long you cannot get it wet for? Could you hold off washing her hair until then? Or does it absolutely needs to be washed?
Cling film over the cut? Get it in place with bandaid and use the jug to wash hair ?

A cut won't stay unhealed for any length of time. A week at most. In the meantime I'd just use some dry shampoo.

Thanks for the suggestions ☺️ she has had the cut since Friday so hasn't had her hair washed properly since Thursday evening and she needs to keep the dressing on for at least another week. I might be able to use dry shampoo once more.

Wrap cling film round dressing and tape down then over sink or bath edge with a jug to rinse

Head over the bath. I did it a lot with mine and never got their shoulders wet.
Failing that hairdressers for a wash. Never known them to get shoulders wet.
