What's the best theme for my baby's first birthday?

My son will be celebrating his first birthday, that means planning well for an exciting party! This will be an important event for my family so I should make sure that everything goes well! Now, I’m thinking about the best theme, that’s why I’m here asking for any suggestions from you guys. I’ve already read some ideas in an international dating blog but nothing stood out for me. Help me, please! Your comments are much appreciated!

My theme would have been “Yay we survived! He’s starting to sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time!”

But most people I know went with jungle animals or vehicles.

Please don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself. Tea, cake, sorted!

International dating blog? First birthday?

Are international dating blogs generally handy sources of for children's parties?!?

You don't need a theme, just pick some colours you like and buy napkins and balloons.

Baby won't notice or remember anyway.... It's you who wants the party.

Only thing DS was bothered about was the helium balloon we got him, he was distinctly clingy and overwhelmed for the rest of the day (2 grandmothers, 2 aunts, one uncle, 2 cousins as guests)
