Toddler Headphones

I'm having a bit of a panic about how to keep my 15th month old entertained on a flight in a few days time. I think watching videos on the iPad could kill some time but does anyone know where I can get some small headphones? She's particularly little, wears 6-9 month hats. I've seen some headband things, has anyone tried these and knows whether they're actually more comfortable than headphones or just a gimmick?

At that age my DS would watch the video with no sound quite happily. But if you do want to get some headphones I would recommend the griffin kazoo myphones.

My daughter had an iPad for her second birthday and I’m pretty sure we got her headphones from Asda! They were little over the head pink ones. They’re very quiet, you can’t turn them up loud at all so no worries about them damaging their hearing.

We have these:

Nice and small and fit my one year old nicely (though my small three year old can fit them too). They are volume limited and also really bendy so can take a bit of toddler roughness. Worked great for our recent flight as he particularly liked certain songs so wouldn't have been ok to watch without sound.

Screen entertainment plus pencils and paper plus snacks worked out ok. Only a 2 hour flight though!

Forgot to say, we bought some jvc kids ones from Argos so we had two pairs for the flight and they are noticeably bigger.

My 2 year old has been using these for the last year. Fit him well and think they will for a few years to come!

My then 14MO used these on a recent long haul flight:

I recommend practising at home first so she accepts them, we did one episode of paw patrol most days in the 3 or so weeks before the flight. They kept her quiet for the flight along with regular snacks, 2 naps and walking up and down the plane with the cabin crew. Would definitely recommend!

We've got "Headfoams" from Argos. Bluetooth so no cable to tangle and damage, and they come with an insert to make them fit small heads.

Thank you everyone! I'll have a look at all your suggestions now :)

I have a little 2 year old and just bought mpow yellow and blue ones from amazon, they have a panda on them. They fit him well and are cheap too Smile
