What temperature outside would you put your 6 month old baby in a coat and a hat? The past few weeks have been roasting so DD has been in rompers and dresses and maybe a cardigan if the temperature dips. But the temperature has dropped quite a lot. I don't want to sound silly and I'm aware it's common sense but I don't want her to be too hot or too cold! Thanks :)

I was always told, 'whatever you're wearing plus one'. EG if you've got jeans and a top, then babies should also have a cardi on too.

I struggle with this too- especially with the ever changing weather. But that's a great rule scotinoz, wish I'd heard it before!
