I am finding it increasingly hard I am not gonna lie. Hes not interested in toys and the novelty of his treasure box is wearing. There are no baby groups on atm and we tend to miss them due go naps now.

I have 5 weeks of mat leave left and feel bad dragging him to the shops (and coffee!) so often it seems. Ive done soft play a few times and taken him for walks but now hes cruising about I feel bad restraining him in his pushchair

Any suggestions?

(Maybe I am over worrying....)

Your over worrying! Dd is 17mo and she is content playing with toys (the noises and more garish the better) blocks etc and she is happy to be dragged to the supermarket or round the garden centre still just for some fresh air. She is walking but I prefer to take her in the pram as she can’t go far without wanting to be picked up and I currently also have a 5 year old on holidays still so it’s easier.

If we spend a day at home she potters about, brings me books, chalks in the garden and tries to climb everything she shouldn’t.
