Baby's first holiday

I'm going on a family holiday with my in-laws and it will be my DS first holiday.
He will be 2 months old when we go.
Does anyone have any tips for travelling with a baby?
The holiday is in UK. About 2 hour drive.
We are planning a few stops on the way so we can get DS out of the car seat.
Planning on getting self sterilizing bottles to take so I don't have to take the steraliser with us.
Taking his Moses basket instead of the travel cot because he sleeps really well in the basket.
Any tips?

We took our LO away when she was 3 months to a caravan holiday, it was no different to being at home really at that age.

Yeah one of my friends a,ways says that holidays when they’re young is just childcare in a different environment.

At 2 months they’re pretty portable though OP, they just want to be fed and clean and have you nearby.

Make sure you get plenty of rest and eat well while you’re there Smile

Are you having your shopping delivered when you get there OP? If so, you can order formula, nappies and wipes to come in the delivery to save on packing space, if that’s an issue.

Don’t forget to take a sling for walks too Smile

Do you know what laundry facilities will be available? We are just back from first holiday and fortunately there was a washing machine and tumble dryer as it meant I didn’t have to take so many clothes/muslins etc (he is a sicky baby!)
