Groups with a sick baby

My DS is 4 months old and has his first little cough and cold. We are due to go to a sling library tomorrow but not sure I should take him when he is unwell. He is ok in himself but there are going to be other babies that may catch his cold. I genuinely don't know, part of me thinks I'm being selfish because I've waited 3 weeks for this sling library so really want to go but shouldn't and the other part thinks babies get colds a lot in the first year and to just go. Wwyd?

If it's just a cough and cold and he's generally ok then I prob wouldn't worry, but a temp/sickness I wouldn't go as there will likely be small babies there x

Can you contact the sling library? They may be able to tell you how many people are going, and suggest a time slot for you?

If you stay in for every cough, cold, runny nose you're in for a long 4 years! High temperature/fever I would stay in, but just a run of the mill cold I would go.

Assuming your appointment isn't urgent stay home. Whilst a cold or a sniffle isn't a big deal for most kids, those with a weakened immune system can end up very poorly.

Just wait for the next meeting.

When so little and likely to be around smaller and possibly more vulnerable babies I wouldn’t go to a group

He's not got a temperature or been sick. It's just a cold with a bit of a cough but I'm worried because there maybe some small babies there.

I'll message the organiser and see if she is happy for us to attend or if there is a better time.

It's not urgent but do really need some advice on a better sling because my current one is hurting my back.
