Swimming nappy

Not sure if this is the right place to post but couldn't think where else to 🤔
I'm going to take my dd swimming in September, with a swim academy for babies.
She's almost 15 weeks now.
The swim instructor says she has to wear a happy nappy over a normal swim nappy. This is the norm for swimming schools it seems. Not a problem, they look nice enough!
Anyone out there used Happy Nappy before?
They do ones that look like swim knickers, some that look like normal costumes, and then some with long arms.
Which is best? The long arms keep them warmer longer but I don't know if they will allow good movement?

We were told that we should use the full suit if baby is under 6 months old. Ours was 6 months so we just used the pants, but younger babies didn't seem to be too restricted.

We were advised that either the nappy one or the costume one is fine for use in a hydrotherapy pool for a child under 6 months.
A full sleeved, wetsuit type one would be needed in a cooler pool.
The swim school should be able to advise you what is best for their pool

Thank you both
It's in a hydrotherapy pool. 🏊🏻‍♀️ and it's nice and warm so I expect the normal sleeveless one should be ok
I've emailed the instructor x

I think the swim school means a double nappy system no? So you put your swim nappy on then the happy nappy on top to prevent any leaks. You then if you want put a wet suit or something similar over the top. Just depends how warm the pool is to what you go for.

Agree with mrs2468 - we used a swim nappy along with a happy nappy on top. Then an all-in-one swimsuit (the Marvel character ones from Next). We had a holiday planned later in the year and this gave SPF50 protection too.

If you can go along to see a swim class from the sidelines beforehand you'll get a feel for what they all wear (the different options). The good thing about happy nappy pants rather than the full wetsuit is that you can choose to wear just the pants or cover with a fun swimsuit.

Enjoy swimming with your little one!
