Viral rash or allergy?

Hi all. So my poor DS has had a stuffy nose all week and now he has broken out in hives everywhere! Went Docs and they prescribed antibiotics because they noticed his throat is very sore and said most likely a rash caused by viral or infection. One thing I have changed though is washing powder! I switched to Fairy as it was on offer. I usually just used basic Aldi non bio but thought I'd get fairy for a change as I love the smell! I started using it last week, and he started getting poorly around Monday this week. It wouldn't be because of that would it?

Is he responding to the antibiotics yet OO? If he’s getting better on the antibiotics, it’s unlikely to be the washing powder and itsxa very slim chance it’s that anyway

@JiltedJohnsJulie yes! Thankfully he's finally responded and he is almost back to his normal self. His hives have gone down a lot as well so that puts my mind at ease that it isn't the washing powder that's causing it! Thanks for asking
