Reusable wipes

Keen to try some reusable wipes with DD2 and looking for some recommendations. Cheeky Wipes seem to do a neat kit but some mixed reviews on the quality of the actual wipes.

Can any one recommend any particular brands or experiences with Cheeky Wipes (and which ones to go for)?

We have cheeky wipes but we keep them dry in the tub and wet to use for hands and faces.

I did try them for nappies but it wasn't for us.

They're good and have lasted a long time. We got multicoloured ones, maybe rainbow bamboo? I have used them for cleaning up stains etc and that does wear them out quickly.

I use cheeky wipes and think they’re great. You can find various flannels and such for much cheaper but no idea on quality. I just keep them dry as well and wet as needed. They work much better than disposable wipes!

Buy a cheap thin fleece blanket and chop up. You don't need to sew edges or anything.

Buy a Tupperware box to keep them in. Either carry a spray bottle, or make up a solution of lavender oil and chamomile tea and pour done in with the wipes and store in box. They only last a day though.

Otherwise water is fine.

I'm lazy so don't do this anymore as you can manage with dry wipes and just run under the tap in baby change.

I've got the cheeky wipes, like the kit as the box is very easy to open one handed the wipes are ok but not great at lasting. Better wipes are thenappylady premium wipes.

I tried cutting up a bit of fleece and didn't get on with it at all. For me fleece doesn't have enough 'grip' (iykwim) and doesn't hold water. Perfect for nappy liners but not wipes imo!

Used cheeky wipes with first two children and loved them.

More cheeky wipes here. We use reusable nappies so they just get chucked into the same wash every morning. Baby is six months and had no issues with them. Thinking of copying pp though as I've been keeping them wet and they can go stagnant after a couple of days unused.

Thank you, looks like Cheeky Wipes is the way to go then.

Towel, flannels. Microfiber cloths. The list is endless. Old pants, old tshirts
