How old are your children and what time do they go to bed? Does it make a difference if it’s the weekend / school holiday?

In the holidays my 3YO and 5YO go to bed about 9. They go upstairs around 7.30 and chill out, play, read in their room until 9. They get up when they want, usually around 8am.

During term time, they have to get up at 7 and I do insist on an earlier bedtime. They were both going to bed at 7 before the summer, but I think eldest could probably do with 8pm bedtime during term time now.

6 Yr old bed at 7, usually sleeping by 7:30 ish. I thought he could start staying up until 8 as was waking a bit earlier, but after a few nights he was getting very emotional over small things so back to 7 now. Same in holidays, but he gets a late night at the weekend.
