Just wondering as we have a 10.5 month old DS who, tbh, has been pretty much a dream.
He slept through from about 3 weeks, rarely ever cried, is happy to play by himself, puts himself to sleep in his cot for naps, settled at nursery with no problems and by all accounts is a happy bunny there. He is a very happy smiley baby for about 99% of the time.
Don't get me wrong - it has not all been plain sailing - he had to have an op at 8 weeks which was just awful and his weaning didn't go well due to persistent vomiting but we have got through that now and he eats everything and anything now.
So - me and Dh are thinking of TTC in the next few months - we didn't cope well with the interrupted nights (although we generally only had 1 interruption for food a night pretty much for day 1 - and even then, DS would feed and go straight back down so not really interrupted nights at all) so I am really worried that we would fall apart with a 'normal' baby who wakes 2 or 3 times a night and doesn't start sleeping through until much later. Plus, crying etc which we are just not used to - all whilst trying to look after DS who would be about 2.
Any positive stories from people who have had 2 'easy' children as all I get from friends and relatives is 'ooh you have been lucky - the next one will be a nightmare' etc.
