Planning Play Activites

Hi all

I have always been a bit envious of those fabulous mummy's who have play activities all set up for their kids which can keep them entertained for hours on end. After playing nothing but kitchen and blocks for the past week I have now invested in a tuff tray in an attempt to be a bit more interesting for my DD. Now that I have it, it of course is just sitting there and I have no idea what to do!! Ha!

I can see all the tray ideas that people do on Pinterest etc but my question is how do you actually do it in practice? I need a few tips to get organised on how to plan these things in and how you get the time to set up and make sure you have all the different bits to make it up? Do you do things the night before just what you have in or is it like meal planning for play and you set up a list of things you want to do and what you need? How do you make sure you don't go to loads of effort and cost getting things for it to then potentially be played with for 2 seconds and left?!

Any tips on getting me organised would be grateful!
