Is it just me?

Does anyone else have a ‘spirited’ child where their behaviour can drive you up the wall sometimes and you wonder how everyone’s else child of the same age seems to be so pleasant and well behaved?

My 4.5 year old can be hard work at times and I get the impression from FB that all my contacts who have a same aged child (give or take) have perfect children and the they are perfect mothers who can handle any situation thrown at them.

My life is not like this and sometimes I can’t help but wonder what I have done/am doing wrong

All kids are spirited. If you can't be spirited as a child then it's a bit sad really is t it?

Nope my 6.5 year old DS is a 'boy' and I mean a crackers little thing, always on the go and racing all over the place, my DB can't cope with him and visits far less now because DS is so bouncy! Unfortunately he's recently taken to high pitched squealing which is getting him short sharp shouts from us parents

My BF says 'he's just a boy' but a very spirited one!
