DD in between nappy sizes

Scratching my head in thought here ;/ DD is 6 months old and for the past week or so size 3 nappies have been cutting into her thighs which now have ugly red marks on :(, poor girl! So I bought size 4 yesterday and realise their miles too big for her! We have a bit of a gap where her legs are at the top and around them which causes them to leak really bad :( this morning I woke to a poonami in her grobag!

I don't know what to do in terms of size 4s being big on her and size 3s almost cutting off the circulation on her legs!

What an earth do i do? (This is my first girl by the way! My son was completely the opposite when it came to nappies!)

Thanks :)

Have you tried 3+? Having the same problem with my dd at the moment. They are cutting into her legs but fit fine round her tummy.

Or try a different brand? Size three should be ok up to 11kg, which is very big for six months, so maybe it’s just that they aren’t the right shape?

Have you tried a different make of nappies? I found Tesco and Asda and pampas nappies to be smaller than Sainsbury's, Lidl and boots.

Hi, have you tried Pampers pull ups? They are lovely and stretchy.

PasstheStarmix · 17/08/2018 12:40

Ds has been in then since he as size 3 because of fitting problems and the pull ups worked great and were much better fit and didn’t leak.

Try a different make size 4? I love Sainsburys btw and I have tried all brands, but it does depend on baby.
