Hi, looking to see how others get on with this topic. I have 3 boys all 5 years and under. My youngest is 2 months old but Daddy has not yet changed or bathed him, yesterday when I asked him change his nappy in a heated conversation he said No! His reason was that baby would cry 😮 he use to change my oldest boys nappies so what had happened here? Is it right for him to refuse?

No it's bloody not. Tell him he has to do his fair share or better still take yourself off for the afternoon and let him look after the baby and he will have to change a nappy!

It isn't right he won't parent his own dc.
Is he worried about ds being tiny? It's easy to forget how awkward it can be at the newborn stage. You have given him an easy ride for 2 months op! Offer to give him a refresh session then leave him to it.

Of course it’s not right, why we it be.

He doesn’t get to opt out of parenting.

Tell him to grow up and be a father. Did he do it for your others?

He's shirking his parental responsibilities. Babies cry, big deal. He needs to grow up, be an adult, and do his fair share.

He's just being lazy. Not on.

What's the point of him?
