How did the dynamic change when you had your second child?

We are currently a happy family of 3 and if we are lucky enough to conceive we will have a 6 year age gap between dc

I'm thinking how the current dynamic will change and how it will affect our current dc

Any experiences of this?

Tried for a second with a small age gap and got twins Confused

I was so worried about my eldest. But it's fine. It's still early days but he loves the girls and is thriving. All positive for me so far (although it's bloody hard work!).

Hey OP!
I have a 7 year age Gap. I have a 9 year old DD and a 2 year old DS.
Yes the dynamic changed but in a wonderful way! Daughter loves having her older sister role and teaches him lots of stuff which she is super proud of that it was her that taught him.. it's great to watch. I'm so glad I have the Gap, have lots of comments that "it's like starting again" but it isn't .. found it so much easier second time round, and he slotted in perfectly.
Hope you have happy news soon! Thanks

My DD1 is about to turn 5 and I have a 4 week old. I was a bit worried how DD1 would find having a baby in the house but she loves it and has definitely already bonded with the baby. She has struggled with learning to be a bit more patient but that's the only negative and will be better when she's back in school. Good luck!
