Toddler fall onto sharp concrete edge

Hi Mums! I've been full of worry for over 3 weeks now since my 18mo daughter fell on her forehead which hit a sawn off concrete patio edge in the grandparents garden 😣She's fine health wise which I'm very grateful for but I'm devastated at the possibility of it scarring. No stitches or glue needed but a long red scar across forehead which in some parts is a deep and other parts it's just a red kind of bruised line. Anyone else having a similar experience of worrying or any tips on how to reduce scarring? I feel like it's dented in parts a bit and when she frowns it looks bumpy ☹️

I don’t have many practical suggestions, but have you tried putting something like bio oil or sweet almond oil on it? That will help reduce the risk of scarring. Only if it’s not obviously open, of course.

Have you seen anyone about it? DH had an op and a plastic surgeon gave him tips like use those dressings that heal wounds and prevent scarring, eat food that’s good for healing and the skin (oily fish, watch intake for a lot and vitamin rich foods) etc

Was it the GPS fault? If so they should be looking into this, paying to see someone.

Thanks for replies! No it wasn't anyone's fault she has been walking since she was 10mo this old and iwas a very confident walker but took the most untimely fall as toddlers do I guess 😖
