I know this has been asked before but I think my boy has a weird routine compared to most so I'm unsure about mealtimes. Particularly breakfast. Our routine is generally this:
Anytime between 6/7:30: Wakeup-bottle (9oz)
Nap
9:30/10 Breakast (a struggle to get him to eat more than a few mouthfuls as he's tired/bored/grumpy)
10:30/11: Play time/watch a few nursery rhymes on TV whilst I clean.
12/12:30: Nap
1/1:30: Lunch and Bottle (9oz)
2ish: Play
4/4:30: Nap
5ish: Bottle (9oz)
6ish: Dinner (This is the meal he eats best)
7:30-8: Bath, Bottle, Bed (currently no success in getting him to bed earlier).

He's only recently started napping again, I think due to teething and the hot weather wearing him out. He used to have a huge appetite (has been on solids since 4 months) but now it's a struggle to get him to eat proper meals. He has 3 teeth coming through at once and is learning to crawl/stand/attempt to walk. I've tried cutting down on naps but he's so exhausted at the moment, he just ends up miserable and screams the house down. Is this routine OK? Any advice on making it better? Getting him to eat better? First time Mum here and worried I'm doing it wrong!
Thanks.

My ds eats very few solids when teeth are coming through, as soon as they’re through solid consumption up bf down.

When my DS was weaning he wasn't that interested in solids, much preferring milk. When I mentioned it to the health visitor she told me to switch it round & always offer solids first & then milk an hour or so later. It made such a difference, he ate so much more & he quickly dropped the amount of milk he was having.

I do solids first and then milk an hour later and my 8mo has halved her milk intake which hv said was about right

Awake times seem quite long for a 7mo. And to be honest, at 7 mo, food is complementary to milk so you're not really trying to get him to eat 'full' meals
