I'm fuming!!!! So...I have a 4 week old. She's amazing. Yes she's fussy of a day and won't be put down, which is difficult when I also have a 3 year old who wants to play constantly. She is a good sleeper. Has a bot at 11. Wakes at 1 then 4ish. Sometime she goes back down after the 4 feed, sometimes not. I force myself to go up to bed at 10 ish so I can feed, change and settle the baby. After that, I go back downstairs and sterilise all the bottles, take out the dirty nappies and then check on my 3 year old. By the time I'm done it's about half 11/12 ish. She wakes at 1/2 ish. I feed her, change, wind. Take nappy down stairs. Make a fresh bottle ready for 4. When I come back up. She's usually awake so I feed her the last of her bottle, wind and sometimes change if she has done an instant poo. Then I spend half an hour trying to get back to sleep. I do this again at 4 am. Then I get up around 6 as usually my 3 year old wakes me up then telling me how hungry he is and that he needs me to wipe his bum because he's done a poo! No I would say I've got it good as when my 3 year old was a baby he didn't sleep at all. But, when you are doing that every night...it takes it out of you. Not just that but gone are the days you can stay up late to watch box sets incase you break baby sleep routine. So I've done the same tonight and my partner has just message my from down stairs saying...HAVE YOU GONE TO BED ALREADY?.... am I over reacting or am I right to want to punch him in the face?!?(I wouldn't by the way but I still want to.) He has no idea.... when he is home, he's moody because the baby wont settle and our boy is acting up craving for attention. He passes me the baby whenever he can. He never offers to take the baby so I can nap, or shower or just watch something on the tv. He complains that it's going to be another 2 weeks until we can have sex. I would love to have him take my place for a few days and then ask mE. .have you gone to bed already!!! I'm so mad. Anyone else have an utterly clueless partner???
