Breast milk freezing question

Can I freeze breast milk which has been in he fridge for 2 days or can I only freeze fresh milk?

Yes you can freeze it. As long as it's not been used (half a bottle of milk baby has drunk from).

I pump a bag over 2 days usually and freeze it when it's full. I tend to not let it go over 3 days in the fridge but I believe you can go to 5 and then freeze. Make sure it's in the body of the fridge and not the door though as the door is not as cool.

I asked a few midwives about storing breast milk and got the same answer from all- rule of 6. 6 days in the fridge, 6 hours out of the fridge, 6 months in the freezer. So you should be able to transfer from fridge to freezer as long as it's within the 6 day window:)
