Oyster2 carrycot

This might sound stupid....
I went to take my newborn out in the oyster2 carry cot but there is nothing to hold him in at all.
He just rolls around in there.
Is that right?!
Should I put something in to try to support him?
Didn't think of it before he arrived hut I put him in and went to push the buggy and the poor lil beggar was waving his arms around like he was terrified.
Surely that's not right is it?

Am I just being dim?? Have I missed something?

I don't have that pram but I don't think they come with things in generally (you mean like a booster thing for newborns?)
I just tuck a thin sheet over my DD and that keeps her in place and in this year she's very happy just laid into the carry cot itself, no sheet
Maybe your LO feels nervous about being in an open space? Try swaddling before popping him in?

Everything's new to him and to you. He'll soon get used to it and he'll grow faster than you'd think. I know those carry cots are supposed to last till baby is 6m old but most babies outgrow the carrycot long before then.
