DS not eating!

DS is 10 and a half months old and for the last few days has opted not to eat much. It varies from day to day, but he is not a fan of solids or milk.

Today he has only had about 4oz of milk when he got up and refused all other bottles, however he did have a whole weetabix for breakfast and then a whole cow&gate meal and yoghurt for dinner. He refused to have anything at lunch - milk or solids, and then refused his bedtime bottle (he even picked up the bottle cap and put it back on the bottle!).

He is drinking water throughout the day, not as much as I would like considering he isn't having any milk and it's hot.

I have tried milk in his water bottle too, but he caught on to that and was not impressed.

I've been told that as long as I am offering him food and he is refusing, it's fine. Maybe he just isn't hungry. But it is just such a dramatic change for him - he used to quite happily guzzle 8oz bottles and stuff his face with everything we offered him. It's been a few days now and it's just worrying me.

Does anyone have any advice?? Is this just a phase? Should I see the doctor? But what could they do to help??

My ds does this if it's hot. If he is otherwise well in himself I wouldn't worry.

He started to eat a bit less whilst it was very hot, but it has become worse since it got cooler. He's perfectly happy and content most of the time, I think he's having a bout of teething which isn't helping.
