Partner got sickness bug, should me and LO sleep downstairs?

My OH has come down with a sickness bug and has been in bed all day. I'm reluctant to share a bed with him tonight as I really don't want to get it and pass it onto little one (8 weeks old). Is it unreasonable of me to want him to sleep downstairs so if I'm gonna have little sleep at least I'll have comfy sleep? He seems to think it'll be fine if we share a bed but I'm just scared! What do you think I should do?

I make OH sleep downstairs when he has the bug. But you'll prop catch it from door handles or toilet and towels

If you’ve got somewhere safe for the baby to sleep downstairs, then yes, I probably would. Apparently norovirus is doing the rounds at the moment.

If hes got the lurgy it will already be around the bed, can you sleep in baby's room. It's best to confine the poor man to the least amount of rooms, keep him out of the kitchen.

I made my OH sleep upstairs, and stay upstairs until he was better. The day he took ill I bleached and cleaned everything outside the bedroom he was using. He was made to use detol wipes on anything he touched outside the bedroom (handles, toliet, sink etc) Once he hadn't been sick for 24 hours he was allowed out of quarantine lol, and I went in and bleached the bedroom, changed the sheets etc. Making sure to wash my hands as I went.

LO and me were fine.
