Vegan weaning

Does anyone have any experience of weaning in a vegan household?

My baby is currently breastfed but we are looking ahead to weaning in the next few weeks with continued breastfeeding.

I’m not vegan but weaned my DC into mashed bananas and avocados. In fact they were all practically vegan for the first year- as above, then added toast and marmite, mashed or grated carrots, butternut squash apple etc.

No but DD is dairy free in a pestiarian household.

When it comes to weaning you have a choice of purée with self feeding with chucks of food or just blw. From 6 months babies should have vitamins. After lots of research DD has either oatly barista or alpro milk with the giraffe on the front. These are the only high fat milks I could find. When you give breast feeding your baby will need 350mg calcium a day.

If you are sensible and on top of nutrition I can’t see any issues.
