Changing bag essential checklist?

So I have a 10 months old and still over pack and forget to pack essentials. Like the other day i forgot the wipes!!
So what are you essentials in a chaning bag for a 10 month old, she is not bottle fed so don't need to worry about that.
I just want a checklist that i can always look at before going out so I don't forget anything.
Thank you in advance :)

I never had a changing bag. I shoved a couple of nappies, wipes, plastic bag and spare trousers in my handbag and I've never been caught short (2 DC).

Changing mat or towel
nappies
wipes
change
plastic bag
hat
bib
water
arnica in compress and cream for the falls
tissues

Essentials are just nappies and wipes.

Extras that are useful are a change of clothes and nappy bags. And a plastic bag incase of pooey clothes.

If you've got a toddler than water bottle and snack are also essential.

Nappy, wipes, change of clothes and wetbag/plastic bag for dirty things. Possible a snack and a drink bottle.

ahijaw · 30/07/2018 05:50

Ah I always forget the water bottle. Would you not carry extra layers of clothing in case weather changes? Or a blanket? I m clearly overthink this. And any medicine?

Changing mat
Mozzie net
Change of clothes
Bepantham

I keep a blanket each in the car as well as a wet bag with a change of clothes. Fold up change mat with nappies and wipes also permanently in the car. So my travel bag, consists currently of sun scream, my purse, a snack and a drink. And that's with an 18mo and a 6mo

OhTheRoses · 30/07/2018 06:28

That made me laught bump. I now have a vision of you squashing a very large Asian gentleman into your changing bag.

DD is 8 months & my changing bag has:

Change of clothes
Large muslin - can double up as blanket if needed
Suncream
Hat
Toy
Changing mat
3 nappies
Wipes
Nappy bags
Hand sanitiser
Snack
Bib
Spoon

It stays in the bag all the time, I restock it when I get home so I know it's all ready when I need to go out. The only things I add are water cup, dummies & a bottle / lunch if needed.

I use it as my bag too so the front pocket has my purse, lip balm etc in.

Bobbiepin · 30/07/2018 08:52

I always pack in sections
Food in - bottle stuff (or boobs in your case) sippy cup, lunch & snacks
Food out - nappies wipes bags cream mat (doesn't leave the bag)
Messy - large muslin, change of clothes
Stuff - dummy, teether ring, toy, my stuff

Recently I've been adding a hat & suncream. No medicine, except maybe bonjela or a blanket at the moment. If she needs a coat she'll be wearing it.

Sleeplikeasloth · 30/07/2018 09:39

Couple of nappies, small pack of wipes, water bottle. A couple of tiny toys. Suncream if it's going to need reapplying.

If there's room: spare outfit. If the weather is changeable I'll pack a cardie etc.

I tend to just use my handbag, even with bottle feeding.

masktaster · 30/07/2018 12:43

Nappies, wipes, wetbag.
0-2 changes of clothes, depending on how long we're out and what we're doing
Large muslin (a swaddle blanket one that we never used as a swaddle) for miscellaneous purposes
Snacks/Lunch if needed
Cardigan/hoodie if needed

Pretty much how my bag's always looked, 14 months old. Still breastfeeds through the day, so only take water out if it's really hot or we're having a meal (picnic) out. It's my backpack and I usually babywear, so there's also my stuff (purse, inhaler, keys, suncream for all, etc) in there.
