How poorly were your babies after? I've got calpol at the ready. (Feeling very guilty about the traumatic experience to come also :( )

I was dreading and it wasn't nearly as bad as expected.
My DS really cried when the actual injections happened but was fine before we left the nurses room after a little cuddle. We gave him calpol as soon as we got home and then he had 2 further doses as recommended to keep temperature down. His temperature did go up but not to a worrying level so the calpol did its job. He was a bit clingy for a couple of days so we just had a lot of cuddles on the sofa. He slept perfectly though, I think it drained him a little.

I did feel like the worst person in the world holding him in position for the jabs but just kept saying to myself in my head "it's much better than the alternative"

Good luck
