Where do you store your buggy?

I have no hall at front door so tend to leave the buggy in my (tiny) kitchen. I'm going to be getting a new double buggy soon and dread tripping over it constantly trying to move around the kitchen. Also my current buggy always has cooking smells on it.

Keeping it in the Car isn't an options as dh takes it to work.

Also toyed with getting outdoor storage but don't want it getting damp or mouldy in the winter so wouldn't know what to use.

So I'm open to suggestions on where I could keep my buggy.

Not much help as i keep mine in my car as partner has his own. I'd go for lockable outside storage out the front of the house like those used for bikes

I toyed with those but worry the seats will get damp in the winter. Since it needs to be a year round solution

My daughter keeps hers in one of those large plastic sheds. We keep our garden cushions in one too and they are waterproof and come in all sizes.

I’m in the same boat and watching to see if anyone has a genius plan - mine is currently ‘teach the baby to walk asap’ which I think really will be fraught with it’s own problems!

I said to someone just today that if I’m ever building a house it will have a buggy suitabje storage alcove just inside the front door, as we stepped over my buggy in the front hall.

But they don't get damp in the winter if it's built and maintained correctly.

Not sure what you're after. Either storage outside, or it will have to be in the house.

Or more extreme buy a car so it can live in the boot.

I have stored sun lounger cushions in the plastic shed outside for 3 years and they dont get damp in the winter. The shed is completely waterproof. You may have a problem storing a buggy in one if it is wet from rain before you store it

Downstairs toilet! Does mean we cannot use that room anymore though

Would something like this be any good?

Ours lives in my car boot. When we had the travel system it lived in the conservatory.

I have been toying with a plastic storage shed, just nervous of ruining the buggy since it will soon be for two kids and can't afford to replace it.

I just keep mine in the living room 😂 didn’t realise storage was necessary! Does mean I’m encouraging dd to walk as much as possible as it’s a bloody great icandy, so I can’t wait till it’s gone!

I store mine in my car.
