Joie brisk versus joie brisk LX pushchair?

Can somebody help me and tell me what the difference is between these two? One is much cheaper than the other and I’ll go with that one if there’s isn’t much difference. What’s better about the brisk LX? I have compared them and don’t know if I’m missing something as they seem the same! Thanks.

I have the LX. I think the only difference is the LX comes with footmuff and rain cover. The actual stroller is the same.

I have also owned a literax. Both are good strollers. The literax fits better in a boot and the brisk folds up small but tall so ideal if your storing in a downstairs cupboard or something.

But my favourite joie pram is the travi (Mothercare exclusive) it folds up tiny and is so light to carry or pick up and shake out of it gets crumbs.

I own a lot of joie stuff!

But none of those and buy the Joie pact instead - it is the work of a genius!

Thanks both, I’ve also just spotted the mirus scenic and I’m in a joie bewilderment in which to get. They all look good!

Thanks for clearing it up for me @WhyDoesItAlways I couldn’t for the life of me see what the difference was! I do like cosy toes and rain cover so leaning towards the LX but going to check out the Mirus, travi and pact. As long as a larger sunshade it’s a contender.

You haven’t come across the scenic have you WhyDoesItAlways? Mothercare have it and it measures less than the lx so may be handy for slinking around shops I’m thinking. Im going to have to go tonight to have a look at them.

I think the pact and the travi are the same or very similar but the pact comes in better colours!

I had a little go with the mirus but it didn't seem to fold up very small but that may have been user error.

PasstheStarmix · 25/07/2018 17:34

Cheers for all your help, appreciated. I’ll check out the travi/pact tonight and compare to the LX.

I have the lx and I love it. It's easy to push and super easy to fold but the Rain cover is huge! It has rigid piping so doesn't fold very small and it's really bulky so can't be tucked behind the hood when going into shops and such

PasstheStarmix · 25/07/2018 17:52

Thanks Ubicorn, I’m leading towards that one but will also check out the others. Ds is 16 months old and tall so I’ll have to make sure he’s comfortable too.

Also if anybody has tried out the joie litetrax 4 do you like it?

WhyDoesItAlways · 25/07/2018 18:40

Yes, I have the literax too. It's super easy to fold and unfold and very sturdy. It lies completely flat and has a great sun shade on it. Only got rid of it to get a pram that leaves me a bit more room in to boot. The literax literally folds in half so still quite big folded up.

PasstheStarmix · 25/07/2018 22:58

Thanks WhyDoesItAlways for all your help. There’s so many to choose from!

I bought the Joie Brisk LX, thought it was the perfect buggy, until the brake broke after about a week. I returned it and got a replacement, which suffered the exact same issue within a few days. Returned it for a full refund. Was gutted as I have loads of Joie stuff, I'm a big fan. I would buy another Joie buggy but not a brisk LX.

PasstheStarmix · 26/07/2018 19:42

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll be weary of the brake issue. Shame the joie stuff is usually good quality.
