Help! So my little girl is 2years 8 months and I have to be honest she is so good. She eats everything, does what I tell her too 90% of the time. Toilet trained really well but there is something about her going for a poo I just can't cope with! One days she's says she needs it and off she goes and we do all the praise etc. Then some days like today! 3 times she said she needs it and 3 times I take her. The last time we were there for 40 mins and still nothing. We get back to what we were doing and once again she says I need a poo. I totally lost my rag with her and I don't even want to look at her right now! So angry. I don't know how to deal with it :(

Be reasonable! Don't you ever find you take up position on the loo and nothing happens? You have to go away and try again later. Same for her. She sounds such a good little girl you should be thanking your stars. Is the heat making you cranky?

Is she constipated? How is her diet/water intake? Does she have a ‘magic step’ to put her feet on so se is in a more natural position to poo?

You need to get a handle on your behaviour because it is unreasonable to lose your rag with a child who is struggling to poo. If you are not careful you will cause her serious issues with going to the toliet.
