Chicco Next 2 Me

Hello

Thinking about buying a next 2 me and hoping someone who has one can help...

We have a divan bed and the mattress only sticks out from the base by 10cm, is this high enough for the crib to sit flush with my bed? We've also got a soft mattress so this reduced to around 9cm when I'm in bed (although I'm pestering my husband for a new one!) If the crib can only butt up against the base not 5he mattress it would leave a gap of about an inch, does anyone else have that?

I can see that on normal divan beds they butt up against the mattress nicely but my mattress sits quite deeply in to the base which is why it only protrudes by about 10cm.

Thank you!

Hi,
I’m probably not much help but I have the Chicco next to me and you can raise it from quite low to quite high it’s not just a set position so it may be suitable? Have you looked at it in a store to do some measurements yourself? We didn’t have it attached to the bed just next to it so didn’t have the issue but we would raise it up during the day for ease of getting baby in and out and then at night time to the lowest setting so I could reach in. Hope this helps?

I had the one of these, and a futon style bed. I can't remember the exact height but I know the crib was a few cm higher than my mattress, didn't cause a problem really.by the time ds was rolling he was only feeding once a night so I put the side up for sleeping. A fantastic crib imo, I wish they'd been available for my first 3 dc!
