Sizing of clothes.

Morning all!
I’ve seen a snowsuit in Next (obviously for winter) but wondering if a 9-12 months will be suitable?
Little one is currently 7 months old and still wearing 3-6 months clothes. He will be one in January. Shall I get the 9-12 as October November December and January will be colder? Or are the sizes small in these types of thing and I’ll need the 12-18 months?
Thank you all!

I'd get the 12-18 as you might want to layer underneath also you will probably need it in the beginning of next year rather than the end of this year

I’m trying to be savvy buying clothes in the sale but I have no clue what size with a snowsuit! At least t shirts and vests will be used all year round so it doesn’t matter too much if I get the size wrong! 😂

If he's 7 months and still in 3-6 I'd go 9-12 at the biggest. Sounds like he's funky like my little one (14 months and still in 6-9).

TBH I wouldn't bother with a snowsuit anyway, they are irritating pointless things. You can't put them in a car seat with one on because they're too bulky, if you're going in and out of shops they're a nightmare, too bulky for slings/carriers and if you're using the buggy a decent footmuff is snuggly and much much easier to use.

@Spam88 he’s still got 0-3 month vests from primark that fit him! Sizes vary so much depending on which shop they are from! That’s why I originally thought 9-12 as he’s still in small clothes.
I wasn’t going to get one at all @BertieBotts but it’s only £15 in the sale. I’d rather get it and it be worn a few times rather than not getting one and wishing that I had one!
I’ve bought the 9-12 months and will see what it looks like when it arrives. I can always take it back or keep it and see what the size is like in the winter. My sisters little boy will be six months by then so he may end up with it!

Hang on, my baby was born in November and is 7 months old, how can yours be born in January?

Smellybears · 24/07/2018 11:26
