5 Month old pooing

Hi mummies,

My lo has been sharting a lot over the past few days. He would normally poo 2 times in the day, now he is sharting during feeds and in between feeds with just a streak of poo in his nappy and it is smellier than usual. I took him to the dr who said everything is fine. We are now on day 5 of this happening. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same and what the outcome was.

Mine used to do this a lot, especially when teething. Make sure no nappy rash develops, keep on changing, keep an eye for temps or for teeth!

Thanks arbrighton, I did think maybe teething but was not sure being first time mummy is so hard knowing if things are normal or of concern. He has no temp but is chomping on both hands a lot but no red cheeks or gums.

Ours never had red cheeks but he's had horrendous nappies from time to time, hard gums, dribble and sometimes (even) worse sleep
