Hi when did you start using baby skin care products as baby losions, creams, moisturizers, baby baths products and which one you are using and you recommend for babies?

We used just water for ages but DC1 has very, very dry skin. We stayed away from Johnson’s completely as so many people in my family react to it.

We've used Child’s Farm and Aveeno since baby’s first bath (probably around 10 days old)

My DD is 14 months and we still just have plain water baths, inless she's had sun cream on in which case we use the Aveeno bath stuff. We also use aveeno lotion on her daily, started using that when it became apparent that Vaseline just wasn't cutting the mustard anymore, can't remember how old she was but we're only on our second bottle so fairly old presumably.

Child's farm from a newborn and now aveeno (lo is almost 5 months).

Child's Farm is the only stuff that doesn't flare my kids skin up. The bath products also do actually bubble up a bit and make it feel like your kid is actually getting clean.

I have tried many, many childrens bath products!

We have used childs farm unfragranced body wash from 6 months onwards. Before that we only used sudocrem and e45 for eczema.

Cutesbabasmummy · 23/07/2018 17:16

We used Johnson's from 2 weeks old. Still use the nighttime bath but have recently switched to Child's Farm shampoos (strawberry and mint) as it washes out of my son's hair more easily.

We mostly use Weleda but also sometimes Aveeno (as they conveniently sell it in our nearest shop). We have used a baby bath body/hair wash all in one type product followed by lotion with a massage since her first bath at around 10 days old.

I think my son was about 2 or 3 months old before we started using anything, but only once a week. Even now at 17m we only use a little bit 2-3 times a week, or unless he's dirty from art & crafts or food. Rest of the time it's just water.

We use Child's Farm.

Also we only use body wash. I'm not bothering with moisturiser etc as his skin doesn't need it.
