Any Gaelic speakers here?

I don’t speak Gaelic but can sing a few songs. DS (3) is now obsessed by Mire mire miug miug, so it would be lovely to know what we’re actually singing about all day! Can anyone help please? I’ve been on the gaelic4parents and bookbug sites but can only find the Gaelic lyrics. Thank you!

Using this, and this i think it means:

Happy Happy Whey whey
Happy happy whey whey
Happy Happy Whey whey
Happy happy whey whey
Bread and butter and Cheese

Apparently its a song about stirring whey

According to the guy who did our Gaelic group it means nothing. Like e-i-e-i-o. However, Aran is im is caise means bread and butter and cheese so the pp may be right. 🤔
