Best Toys for a 1 year old

Getting a birthday present gor nephew who is 1 been told he needs some toys now as he's outgrown his baby toys. Do you havd any recommendations. He isnt crawling or standing yet

Just got the vtech musical sit to stand toy for my nearly 1 yo. He loves holding onto it and has helped him with his standing. It’s £30 from Argos. Or maybe something to encourage crawling? One of those light up balls to chase after or something similar x

Our DS is 1 in 3 weeks. We have bought him a smart trike folding 700, a slide , we gave also ordered a beatbo which may be a nice gift from you, it hasn't arrived yet so I'm only going off the ad at the moment but looks like lots or learning fun

Brio train set (start with a circle of track and a push along - not battery operated -train) grew massively but lasted nearly 8 years for one child in this house.
