3 months old teething or reflux?!!!!

So my ds has just turned 12weeks and the past week or so has been dribbling loads, sucking and chewing my finger and has started freaking out whenever I try bottle feeding him.

I wind him, change positions, jiggle him about, nothing works. It's a battle getting 3 Oz in to him and can take up to an hour on a good day. He cries until I take the bottle out and hold him upright. He was diagnosed with silent reflux at 5 weeks and has been okay on omeprazole with the odd blip. I'm wondering if maybe he's either teething or his dose is wrong? He's 15lb and we've had problems with the GP not telling us when to up his dose, he has 3.5ml of a 10mg tablet. Please help :0

Your post is my life OP!! My DD is now 7 months and is on Ranitidine. But getting her to drink any milk since 3 months has always been a huge issue for us!

The biggest positive change we've done has been from swapping milk from Comfort to SMA Anti reflux and going from TT bottles to MAM.

She's now doing so much better, but some days are easier than others.

Have you tried different bottles?

Anti reflux milk was a godsend for me. The medicine helped with the pain but not the discomfort iykwim.

Is it also possible he needs the next teat size up? He could be getting frustrated with the speed?

Well today for the first time since he was born I switched bottles (he was on a special needs squeezy one as he couldn't suck) and he managed it without flapping his arms around! I also think his omeprazol dose is too high, I've read it can cause excess wind and tummy ache which are the signs I'm seeing now....you can't bloody win with reflux, I just hope he doesn't start showing signs again :0
