At what age did you do the whole 'stranger danger' thing with your lo?

we haven't felt the need really. Over the past few weeks though ds has been talking about it at school - they have had visits from the police etc. They covered all sorts of aspects of safety so it wasn't at all alarmist iykwim. (ds is just 5 btw)

thanks.

ds is 2.9. am just aware at the moment how naive he is. he's a very sociable boy and will speak to any adult...

When dd was about 3.5, I think - although I did it in a very low-key way, just making sure that she knew not to go anywhere without me, even if someone else said it was OK.

I haven't really felt the need to make a big thing about "stranger danger" really.

ds2 ( age 3yrs and 10mths) has just done it at nursery, but I think he has got confused, I asked him about it yesterday and he said it meant 'the police taking you away' - so i think he has missed the point somewhere!
